Alongside our completion of the 3,200sqm DMCC Headquarters fitout in Uptown Tower, Summertown Interiors was entrusted with the task of crafting a cutting-edge workspace conducive to fostering human connections and collaborative efforts among support staff, all while adhering to the building’s pursuit of LEED Gold certification.
Occupying Level 9 of the awe-inspiring Uptown Tower, conceptualised by architects Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, this new office interior stands as a testament to modernity and innovation. Towering at 340 meters, Uptown Tower serves as the inaugural structure in the burgeoning Uptown Dubai district, boasting 22 floors of top-tier Grade A commercial office space.
In collaboration with Dubai-based interior design studio Roar, serving as Lead Design Consultants, their vision was to reintroduce the human element into the realm of commerce, thereby cultivating a workspace that exudes comfort and support.
Embracing a timeless palette of classic sophistication, the interior design harnesses the calming influence of beige tones to create an ambiance of tranquillity, while creamy hues contribute an overall softness, inviting occupants to infuse their own personality and flair. The layout strategically integrates open workspaces, blending interactive and private areas seamlessly to empower employees to customise their environment according to their unique needs.
The meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to craftsmanship culminated in a workspace that seamlessly merges sophistication with functionality, perfectly attuned to accommodate DMCC’s distinct needs and preferences.
