Summertown is looking for Business Development professionals to join our dynamic team.  Key aspects of the role include:


• Prepare yearly sales plan and budget 
• Achieve sales budget and pre-defined targets 
• Identify and filter the right client and project prior to Enquiry Detail sheet preparation 
• Networking: Create and maintain relationship with key real estate agents, developers, interior suppliers, A&D community, facilities managers and project managers, and other business people 
• Attend identified key exhibitions, conferences and networking events
• Investigate industry trends and competition
• Attend the weekly lead generation and sales collection meetings
• Prepare the lead and quotation status report on a weekly basis 
• Complete pre-qualification procedures with potential clients and consultants
• Complete all sales related forms throughout the sales procedure as documented in ISO process maps.
• Visit existing and potential clients
• Negotiate contracts 
• Follow up on and obtain approvals on submittals (drawings, samples, etc.)
• Debt collection 
• Establish and maintain good customer relationships with clients at all times
• Obtain written feed-back from customers on customer (dis)satisfaction 
• Adopt a team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals

Qualification & Experience
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Fit out industry know-how and experience
• Knowledge of local customs and business practices
